A Coffee Meets Bagel success story is featured on the blog today!

During our initial consult, I  always ask couples how they met! More and more frequently I  find couples are meeting on online dating sites. What in the early years of the internet was almost seen as ‘taboo’, online dating seems to be one of the top ways to meet your soulmate nowadays! For good reason, too. You can easily cut through all the noise and find someone who has your same interests, humor, or bond over a favorite sports team (these two are Warriors fans!).  This person could be on your same morning commute but you never had the chance to bump into one another.

But now, instead of a chanced ‘bump’ just give eachother a virtual  *poke* and make that first connection online before your first date ‘IRL’.

As a wedding photographer who sees all types of love stories, I  gotta say, the online dating apps are serving up some really sweet and lasting relationships! I’m all for it.

So with Coffee Meets Bagel being the catalyst for this relationship, we had to start our session by paying homage to the site! That meant…. coffee and bagels! As a coffee-lover myself, I  couldn’t think of a better way to start an engagement session. We hit up one of my favorite (and most adorable) coffee shops, Scout Coffee Co in San Luis Obispo. You could literally say I   was buzzing with excitement the rest of our adventure along the coast!
